Who we are

A local crew, not a franchise call centre

Grimo Contracting is Niagara-based and Niagara-run. When you call, you talk to the person who will actually be standing in your driveway — not a dispatcher three cities away reading off a script. That means honest answers about what a job takes, and a price that doesn't change once the truck is loaded.

  • Straight pricing

One all-in number before we start. Labour, hauling and dump fees included.

  • We show up

A booked window is a promise. If we're running behind, you get a call, not silence.

  • Left clean

We sweep the pad and rake the yard. You shouldn't be able to tell where the pile was.

  • Sorted, not just dumped

Metal, clean wood and usable furniture get diverted before anything sees a landfill.

If it involves hauling, clearing, digging or heavy lifting, ask us. We take on the odd jobs other companies turn down — and if it isn't our trade, we'll point you to someone local who does it well.

Our work

Recent jobs around Niagara

Before-and-afters from driveways, backyards and basements across the region.

Why Grimo

Six reasons people call us back

No surprise invoices

The number we give you is the number you pay. No hourly meter, no "extra tonnage" line item at the end.

Fast when it matters

Same-day and next-day slots most weeks, and we prioritize storm damage that's blocking a driveway or creating a hazard.

You deal with the owner

Same person on the phone, in the quote and on the job. Nothing gets lost being handed between departments.

We do the heavy part

You point, we carry. Stairs, tight hallways, back yards with no gate access — that's the job, not an upcharge.

Landfill is the last stop

Metal, clean wood, working appliances and usable furniture get sorted out for recycling or donation first.

Niagara is the whole route

We're already in the region, so you're not paying travel time for a truck driving in from Hamilton or Toronto.

How it works

Three steps, no guesswork

Tell us the job

Call, text or send the form. A few photos of the pile, the yard or the driveway is usually all we need to price it.

Get a firm estimate

We come back with an all-in price — labour, hauling and disposal included — usually the same day.

We clear it out

We arrive in the window we promised, do the work, and leave the site swept. You pay when it's done and you're happy.

Service area

All across the Niagara Region

We're Niagara-based, so you're not paying for a truck to drive in from out of town. If you're in the region — or just past the edge of it — call and we'll tell you straight away.

Common questions

Good to know

How much does junk removal cost?

Pricing is based on how much space the load takes up in the truck or trailer, plus disposal fees for the material. We give you an all-in price before we start — labour, hauling and dump fees included — so the number we give you is the number you pay.

How long can I keep the dump trailer?

Rental periods are flexible — by the day, the weekend, or the week. Tell us roughly how long the project will run and we'll set the term around it. If it drags on, just call: we'll either extend the rental or come empty the trailer and bring it right back so you can keep going.

Will the trailer damage my driveway?

This is where a dump trailer beats a bin. It rolls in on rubber tires and sits on them the whole time — nothing steel gets dragged or dropped on your asphalt. We put boards under the jack to spread the load, and we're careful backing on soft surfaces. Point out anything fragile — septic beds, sprinkler lines, new interlock — and we'll plan around it.

Do I need to be home when you arrive?

Not necessarily. If the items are outside and accessible, we can do the job while you're at work and send photos plus the invoice once it's done. For inside jobs, we do need someone to let us in and point out what stays.

What can't you take?

We can't haul hazardous materials — paint, solvents, fuels, asbestos, propane tanks or certain chemicals. Mention anything questionable when you request an estimate and we'll tell you straight away, and point you toward the right disposal depot.

Do you handle emergency storm calls?

Yes. When a tree comes down on a driveway, fence or roofline, call us directly rather than using the form — we prioritize anything blocking access or creating a hazard.

Where does the junk actually go?

Whatever can be recycled or donated gets sorted out first — metal, clean wood, working appliances and usable furniture. Only what's left over goes to landfill.

Do you work with contractors and property managers?

Regularly. Renovation debris, turnover clean-outs between tenants, and recurring site cleanups are all standard work for us. If you've got multiple properties, call and we'll sort out a standing arrangement.

Ready to get it cleared out?

Tell us what you're dealing with and we'll give you a straight price. No obligation, no pressure.
